Tamara, our very own Brisbane based, has been a dedicated licensed Zumba® Jammer (Choreography Specialist)since 2011, inspiring dancers, Zumba Instructors, ZIN members and Zumba enthusiasts across globally with her creativity, kindness and consistency and passion.

From her roots as a Ballroom dancer and champion through to becoming one of the most loved figures in the Australian Zumba community, Tamara’s generous & kind spirit have impacted many!

This celebration isn’t just a party, it’s a tribute to her heart, her artistry, and her 15 years of bringing people together through dance!

It was once just a dream I carried quietly for almost 16 years, through seasons of doubt, growth, motherhood, sacrifices, and moments where I questioned if the timing would ever be right.

Thank you for trusting me with something so personal and so close to my heart.

Being a mum and an entrepreneur (or a mumtrepreneur) is not easy.
It’s wearing all the hats. Running against time. Feeling like there’s never quite enough hours. Wanting everything to be perfect, knowing deep down that it never will be. Some days feeling proud, other days feeling stretched thin, but always showing up.

What to expect during the class

✅ Fun and accessible: The atmosphere is friendly and non-judgmental, with simple, easy-to-follow steps that are repeated. This makes it welcoming for people of all ages and fitness levels, even those who are uncoordinated.

✅ Diverse music and styles: The music is a mix of exotic and latest hits, incorporating dance styles from Latin, Afro, Caribbean, and pop, along with some hip-hop.

✅ Full-body workout: While it’s a dance class, it’s a complete workout. You can expect to work your whole body, with tracks dedicated to cardio, arms, legs, and sometimes even boxing, which helps burn 400-600 calories per hour.

⚠️ ATTENTION – Malzak Studio Temporarily Closed ⚠️

Dear Members,

We were impacted by Sunday’s fast and furious storm 🌧️ — please see the video.

While we now have access to the street, many fallen trees and logs are still blocking parts of the area, and power has not yet been restored. We’re currently running on solar battery, so for safety reasons, the studio will remain temporarily closed.

We plan to reopen this Thursday, 30 October 2025.

Sadly, two of our lovely studio attendees had their vehicles badly damaged during the storm. Our hearts go out to them — it’s a tough reminder of how unpredictable nature can be, and we’re so grateful everyone is safe. 💛

I truly hope none of you, your families, or your homes were affected by the storm.

We’ll keep you updated if anything changes before Thursday.
